Quality

For us, quality begins with the fruit itself.

We work with local growers, selecting fruit that truly represents the character of the region.

We believe that the true value of a spirit lies not in quantity, but in craftsmanship, patience and respect for the raw ingredients.

Our story

LAJTOS is where tradition meets innovation.

As a small family-owned business, our mission is simple: to enrich the Slovak market with authentic fruit spirits crafted with care and precision.

We believe in local ingredients, meticulous distillation and passionate craftsmanship.

Every spirit we create is meant to tell our story - one sip at a time.

Our distillery is located in Bodza, in the heart of Csallóköz (Žitný ostrov) in southern Slovakia.

Expertise

The founder and master distiller of the company is Kristián Lajtos, who studied at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences in Budapest, where he earned his qualification as a pálinka master distiller.

He regularly participates in professional spirit judging trainings and is often invited to serve as a jury member at spirit competitions.
